I had the wonderful opportunity to try out a product from the Touch'd Bath and Body Online store and I received the Organic Sugar Scrub in "Tropical Paradise" fragrance.The first thing I noticed when I opened the jar was its wonderful scent. I really like the way it smelled because it was not overpowering. I have asthma and allergic rhinitis and so I am sensitive to strong perfumes.
Aside from smelling really nice, I like that the scrub was able to exfoliate the dead cells on my skin without leaving it feeling raw and dry. I have tried it on my feet and elbows for three times already and I am happy with the results. Because it has been infused with essential oils and three natural oils - sweet almond, grape seed and jojoba, my skin felt very soft and smooth after using it. It is advisable though that you stand on a wash cloth when using the scrub on your feet because the oils could make your tub slippery.
The founder of Touch'd bath and body Rachel Ferrucci, actually created the organic sugar scrub for her daughter who had eczema. Rachel wanted to provide relief for her daugther's condition but found that medicated creams prescribed by doctors were drying her daughter's delicate skin. This led her to research on the benefits of using natural oils and to develop the organic sugar scrub which is 100% organic and alleviated her daughter's eczema.
